Semey has qualified for the UEFA Futsal Champions League

Futsal club “Semey” secured a convincing away victory over “Aktobe” in the third match of the Kazakhstan Championship 2024/25 semifinal series. The match ended with a score of 6:2 in favor of our team, allowing “Semey” to win the series 3:0 and advance to the final ahead of schedule.
Scorers for our team in this match were: Chingiz Yesenamanov (7th minute), Nikita Emelyanov (15’), Anderson Dedezinho (22’), Kamil Gereikhanov (25’), Akzhol Daribai (40’). An own goal in our favor was also recorded in the 35th minute. For “Aktobe”, Askhat Kulbayev scored twice (6’ and 13’).

Earlier in the series, “Semey” won the first match 4:2 in extra time and the second with a resounding 8:1 scoreline.

Thus, in only its second year of existence, “Semey” once again reaches the final of the Kazakhstan Championship and earns the right to represent the country in the 2025/26 UEFA Futsal Champions League.

The final playoff series will be played until one team wins three matches. The first two matches will be held in “Semey” on June 23 and 24 at “Abay Arena”. The next two matches will be away games on June 27 and 28. If a fifth and deciding match is needed, it will also take place in “Semey”, as the regular season’s top team.

The opponent in the final will be determined in the matchup between “Atyrau” and “Kairat” (Almaty). The fourth match of their series will take place today in Atyrau. If the series is tied at 2:2, the decisive fifth game will be played in Almaty.
