25.06.2025
Futsal club Semey played two home matches of the Kazakhstan Championship final series against Kairat from Almaty.
In the first match, held on June 23, Semey secured a narrow 1–0 victory. The only goal of the game was scored by Rinat Turegazin — 19 seconds before the end of the first half, he accurately struck the visitors’ net.
The second match unfolded differently. Kairat opened the scoring early in the game and added three more goals before halftime. After the break, Semey's captain Chingiz Yesenamanov brought intrigue back to the game with a spectacular goal from the center of the court, lobbing the goalkeeper. A few minutes later, Brazilian legionnaire Gabriel Candido scored twice, narrowing the gap. However, Kairat restored their advantage by scoring a fifth goal, setting the final score at 5–3 in their favor.
Thus, the series is now tied at 1–1.
The battle continues in Almaty. The third and fourth matches will be played on June 28 and 29.
Every game now holds decisive importance. The team is determined to achieve the best possible result away and get closer to the main goal of the season — the championship title.
